Process
How we work, from discovery to launch and beyond.
Five stages with clear activities, deliverables and expectations on both sides. Timelines and commitments are agreed per project once discovery has established the scope.

Each stage lists the activities we carry out, what you receive at the end of it and what we need from you to keep it moving.
The five stages in detail.

Stage 01
Discover
We start with the people, workflows and constraints behind the request. Discovery surfaces the real goals, the systems already in place and the risks that shape the engineering approach.
- Activities
- Stakeholder conversations and workflow walkthroughs
- Review of existing systems, data and integrations
- Definition of success criteria and constraints
- Deliverables
- Written problem statement
- Scope boundaries and open questions
- You provide
- Access to the people who own the workflow
- Existing documentation
Stage 02
Plan
Planning translates discovery into architecture decisions, a prioritised backlog and a delivery sequence that puts the most valuable and most uncertain work first.
- Activities
- Architecture and technology selection
- Prioritised backlog and release sequencing
- Estimates with documented assumptions
- Deliverables
- Solution outline
- Release plan with milestones
- You provide
- Decisions on priorities and trade-offs
Stage 03
Design
Design covers information architecture, interaction flows and interface detail. We work in the real product where possible so decisions are tested against actual data and constraints.
- Activities
- Flows and information architecture
- Interface design and component library
- Usability review with representative users
- Deliverables
- Interactive prototypes
- Design system and specifications
- You provide
- Access to representative users
- Brand assets and content
Stage 04
Develop
Engineering proceeds in increments that are demonstrated regularly. Every increment is covered by automated tests, code review and continuous integration so quality is visible throughout.
- Activities
- Incremental delivery with regular demos
- Automated testing and code review
- Integration with existing systems
- Deliverables
- Working software in a staging environment
- Technical documentation
- You provide
- Timely feedback on demos
- Access to systems being integrated
Stage 05
Launch
Launch includes release planning, monitoring, handover and the support arrangement that follows. We treat the first weeks in production as part of the project rather than an afterthought.
- Activities
- Release checklist and rollout plan
- Monitoring, alerting and performance checks
- Handover, training and support arrangement
- Deliverables
- Production release
- Operations handbook and support agreement
- You provide
- Go-live approval
- Operational contacts
Good software is built with the people who will use it. These expectations keep that collaboration productive.
What we ask of you.
A named decision-maker
Projects move at the speed of decisions. We ask for one person who can prioritise, approve and unblock on your side.
Regular, short reviews
Working software is demonstrated on a steady rhythm. Reviews are short, focused on what has changed and what comes next.
Access to real users and systems
Design and integration work depends on seeing how the work is done today and the systems it touches.
Written decisions
Scope, trade-offs and architecture choices are recorded so the reasoning is available to everyone, including people who join later.
Launch is a change in who depends on the software. We agree monitoring, response and improvement arrangements before go-live, so the weeks after release are calm rather than reactive.
Support is part of the project.
